The Mocha Club is another great way to discover awesome music!
Here in the artist relations department, Jeff Jackson, Emily Hickey, and myself work with artists to give their concerts a great purpose. Sure, concerts in general are awesome, but it’s even better when you find out the artist you love supports the well being of women and children in Africa—–bringing music and missions together.
Check out our artists page to see who is involved—and check out their music (thank you spotify!).
There are many ways the artists support us: free CDs to those who sign-up on that artist’s team, exclusive meet and greet, free download, free merch, etc. But we also get to support the artist by promoting their upcoming shows via our website, facebook, twitter, and other social media outlets.
I had the opportunity a few weeks back to work at the Mocha Club table for the Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors concert at Live on the Green with my roommate and my sister. It was a BLAST!—-between meeting and talking with Drew and Ellie before and after the show, hanging out with their merch people, and living in the excitement of a live show, I highly suggest everyone volunteer to work at our table for a show…or three! Did I mention that you get into the concert for FREE?!
